Users can now familiarize themselves with the powerful linguistic features of this electronic dictionary and assess them in action. The bidirectional English-Japanese (Kana and Kanji) dictionary of approx. 450,000 words contains general expressions, medical, technical, legal, and business terms. All translations from English are displayed with "Romanized" pronunciation keys. EJ400T provides five options of character input. "Romanized" input methods allow entering characters of each syllabary by their Latin transcriptions. Depending on the selected input method the string of Latin letters typed by you is automatically converted to characters of Hiragana, Katakana or Kanji (in Hiragana pronunciation).
